YEAR IN JAILFrank Dove Hit Ashby Dove With a Big Stone.Frank Dove, of near Dovesville, was brought to the county jail here Saturday afternoon, where he will be compelled to spend twelve months or until he can give a bond of $60 to keep peace for an equal period of time.Dove was convicted in Justice L.P. Souder's court, at Dovesville on_Friday on a charge of assaulting T. Ashby Dove, and fined $5_and costs, and required to give a peace bond of $50. The latter he could not do, and the justice ordered Deputy Sheriff W. H. Yankey to bring him to jail. At the trial it was shown that Frank Dove had deliberately walked up behind T. A. Dove and struck him a terriffic blow upon the head with a large rock.
