Patterson says that Bradley attempted to take Gordon home but that the latter refused to go and that calling him (Patterson) aside attacked mm with a knife and cut two gashes on his face. Patterson has, two. bad gashes on his face as evidence of the fact that' , ^ . .1 •Gordon assaulted him with a knife, Gordon says that Patterson struck him first, knocking him down and that he then attacked him with the knife. - Patterson refused to file an affidavit against. Gordon and Gordon against Patterson. The affidavits were made by Marshal Geyer.Joshua Evans, patrolmkn, stopped the trouble and placed Gordon in jail to remain over night.Gordon is only seventeen years of age. Patterson is twenty years old and married.The police are investigating further in the-case.
