Rebecca Boyette FlowersAug. 7,1934 — Feb. 4,2013LEESBURG, Fla. — Rebecca “Becky” Boyette Flowers, 78, passed away on Feb. 4,2013. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Marsh Swamp Original FWB Church with the Rev. Ray Wells officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Pkwy., Wilson.Becky was bom to Berry C. and Lois Boyette Flowers on Aug. 7, 1934 in Richmond, Va.She graduated from McMillan Hospital Nursing School in Charleston, W. Va. Becky was a retired surgical nurse at Leesburg Regional Medical Center. Her main activity in life was caring for her parents in their later years. Becky was an avid animal lover, especially dogs.She is survived by a sister, Linda Flowers Evans and husband, Edward, of Melbourne, Fla.; niece, Susan Evans Wheeler and husband, Eric, of Melbourne, Fla.; nephew, Craig Matthew Evans of Rochester, N.Y.; great-niece, Tessa Noel Wheeler of Melbourne, Fla.; and her special dog, Kerri.Becky was preceded in d6ath by her parents, Berry “Pete” and Lois Boyette Flowers.Condolences may be directed to www.joyners. net.
