Amick pleads not guilty in child sex caseRoss AmickRoss Stanley Amick, 50, no fixed address, has entered a not guilty plea to rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, statutory rape, aggravated indecent assault, two counts of indecent aaaautt, indecent exposure and corruption of minorsThe charges were filed by Gettysburg Police Det Walter G Ghem Jr m connection with alleged incidents occurring on Oct 15Amick, who was a defendant in a child pornography case several years ago, had been staying with a Gettysburg woman and her two young daughters while his court case was proceedingIn the previous case, Amick had been charged with taking lewd and indecent pictures ofseveral infant females A doll maker at the time, Amick con vinced a number of parents that he needed to take the pictures to create anatomically correctdollsInvestigators with the state attorney general served search warrants on Amick's place of business and home In the home, they discovered the pic lures Amick’s attorney filed a motion contesting the seaich warrantsThe warrants failed to list Amick's home address and the evidence seized was thiown out The state reached an agreement with Amick that he would undergo psychiatric evaluation and treatment The case was, continued indefinitely, until the agreement was fulfilledAt the time of his most recent arrest, those cases technically were still active In this case, Detective Ghem alleges that on Oct 14, the two gills, ages 3 and 5, were talking quietly lo each other They* babysitter overheard the conversation and asked what was going on The girls told the babysitter that Amick 'had huit then bottoms and they potnted to their genitals ” The babysitter informed the girls mother of the tunversa turn The girls repeated the same stors They also said they had seen Amick naked During a police interview, the girls once again told their story Amick is being represented by Gettysburg attorney Anthony Mdey
