Police Hunt Chaffin on Fraudulent Check ChargeEast Chicago police today sought Norman E. Chaffin, formerly o{ 3503 Deodar street, who allegedly cashed a fraudulent chock for $8 at the Caparros service station at 3499 Guthrie street last night.Frank Caparros, manager of the; station, learned that Chaffin’s account was short of funds when he took th6 check to the Union National bank to be cashed.
