The Commissioners Completed th© Work of Session and Adjourned.The commissioners adjourned at noon today, after having appointed Samuel and John Fuhrman, Noah Frauhiger and Dr. J. C. Grandstaff as special constables, the request for their appointment being made by the officers of the Adams County Detective association, under a law made by the legislature in 1907. It gives them special powers as police officers, and shows that the association intends toprotect their rights and their property, should any horse thieves show any symptoms of getting busy in this partof the world._ ^ —
