Wtti. l*©id AcQuitteii of Murder.SnELUYViLi.E, Ind., Feb. 3.—After a trial lasting1 17 days, William Reid was Thursday acquitted of having shot and killed Samuel Barker, of Beardstown, 111., during the fair week last September. Reid is a 3-oung school teacher and while en route to the fair became involved in a quarrel ,witli Barker and other parties who were followers of fairs. In the fight Barker was killed.
