Buple, who lives a mile and a half west of the city on Franklin street, came into the city on a neighbor’s sleigh, and hunted up the officers, fo whom she reported that h,er son: in-law, Emanuel Sheckh s, was crazy, and had threatened to kill the whole family. Mrs. Buple also said that there had been some trouble between her and her son-in-law previously, and they decided that perhaps bis insanity was more feigned than real. Mrs. Buple went to a friend’s house to remain over night, and said she would swear out papers for Sheckles this morning.
