Police Couiit.—The following cases wcro boforo the Police C^prt, yesterday morning: Georgo McAdams, assault, dismissed, the testimouy showing that tko accused acted in belf-defencc when bo struck the complainant; Hugh Harris, ■tuimilt mid disorder, ten dollars and costa, —payment suspended on condition that Harris leave the State and remain away ono year—the prisoner was glveu until this evening to make his arrangements for leaving the Commonweatli; Joseph Bal-ster, tumult and disorder—testimony failed to make out a caso under the charge, tho prisoner having used obsoeno and abusive language towards an officer. 11 is Honor dismissed the proceedings under the warrant, but directed another to bo issued charging him with the offense which the testimony ahoWed ho had committed.
