URGES RELEASE OF BRIDGE DYNAMITERSR. E. Garvey Speaker at Mil waukee Conference.Efforts to bring about the release from prison of Ero Maki and Lawrence Kentola, sentenced during the lumberjack strike last summer for dynamiting a bridge on a logging road in Baraga county, were urged by Raymond E. Garvey, city commissioner, in a talk given in Milwaukee Ptfday afternoon at a “conference on constitutional civil liberties.”Garvey gave two talks at the conference, one in the afternoon and the other at the banquet Friday night. The meetings were held at the Grand Avenue Congregational church in Milwaukee.
