Orlow, who came to America ten years ago and representing himself to be a Russian nobleman, donated lavishly to charity, was recommended by Lynn Helm, referee in bankruptcy, to be adjudged a bankruptcy an order of the United States district court yesterday.Dr. Orlow as an art connoisseur, collector of antiquities and founder ofseveral societies, had gathered relics and treasures from all parts of the world, and it is frith difficulty that the intrinsic value of this collection can be estimated. Mr. Helm’s opinion finds that at the time the petition of creditors was filed in August, Dr. Orlow*s debts amounted to $44,783.30.
