Among the number are indiotments againstEsiquio Sanchez, Victoriano Lucero, Cruz Herrera and Damian Gutierrez for the murder of Higinio Garcia, near San Patricio, last summer, says the News. The bond of Esiquio Sanchez was fixed at |12,500, and that of Victoriana Luoero and Cruz Herrera (joint bond) $5,000, which also was given. Damian Gutierrez,, who confesses to having killed Gnrcia, and claims that he had no associates in the commission of the bloody deed, still languishes io jail, having waived an examination at the preliminary hearing held some months ago before Justice Gomez.
