“You Can Lean on The Fence.”Frank Armstroiig, our deputy sheriff, finished his work .Saturday of levying attachments on t wentv-three houses in Ruckerville, the projerty of Henry Rucker, who If ft several parties the sack to hold. Th e Higgins estate comes in for near $3,000. Nancy Johnson, an old colored woman, labored under the impression of having deposited $425 in the Deposit, Bank when Rucker was cashhw, but instead of placing it to her credit, Rocker gave her his individual note for the money. Before he left, the old woman discovered her mistake, and asked fe r a Hen on a certain bouse in Rucker-ville to secure her money, but told her in a very cool manner to “lean I on the fence.”
