MONMOUTH — Two Monmouth residents, Charles P. Harrison and Leon Wallace, escaped serious injury in an accident Sunday night at 9:15, two miles west of Monmouth on U.S. highway 34.Harrison was traveling east when he lost control of his car on an icy strip of pavement, andthe car rolled over into a ditch. Wallace, a passenger in the Har* rison Car, was taken to Monmouth Hospital where he ' was treated for minor injuries and released.State police at Macomb said there was major damage to the car and the accident is still under investigation.
