Erma Skinner came to her death as | the result of the gunshot wound inflicted by Bailey.Jealousy is attributed as the cause of the tragedy. Bailey was arrested soon after the shooting by Deputy Sheriff Emory Coleman of Centralia and lodged in the county jail here.Wednesday Prosecuting Attorney Grimm filed an information in the superior court charging Bailey with the crime of first degree murder. Attorney G. L. Thacker of Chehalis has been retained to defend Bailey.Story of the Tragedy.Bailey and a companion, Steve Gronka, had driven to- Rochester Saturday night to a dance, evidently to dispose of a stock of liquor which they had; as 15 pints were found in the former's car after the shooting. When Bailey arrived at the Skinner home at 3 o’clock Mrs. Skinner was waiting up for him and there were three other men there, John Ferrell, Lester Connor and Lucius Brenaman.
