An inquest under direction of County Attorney Wm. H. Grimm was held at Centralia Tuesday afternoon. A coroner’s jury, composed of W. H. Hodge. Gus Kern. George Forsythe, C. B. Shain, R, L. Shain and Joe Talbot found that Erma Skinner came to her death as the result of the gunshot wound inflicted by Bailey.Jealousy is attributed as the cause of the tragedy. Bailey was arrestedJsoon after the shooting by Deputy Sheriff Emory Coleman of Centralia and lodged in the county jail here.Wednesday Prosecuting Attorney Grimm filed an information in the superior court charging Bailey with the crime of first degree murder.
