ss;esoilityIdsm-jllsat-±ielysaafc.ndirt.igh i r1rSHOWGIRL DIES IN SEA TRAGEDYHOLLYWOOD, Feb. 3 (UP)— Coroner Brank Nance today sought to discover today why an all but naked showgirl plunged to her death from the yacht of Arthur Hamburger, one of southern California’s wealthiest men, Sunday morning.Police, called the tragedy “an accidental death.” They also released Robert Tracy, a movie actor, and Alice Derc, dancer, only others aboard the 60-fooc yacht, El Coma-Dee, when Dolores Delmar dived in brassiere and filmy panties into Wilmington yacht harbor.The 35-year-old Hamburger, scion of a department store fortune, and Tracy, a newcomer to the films,, told police they were asleep in their cabin when Miss Delmar jumped off the boat to the pier and then to the. water below.Miss Dere, who roomed with Miss Delmar, said the quartet had hiade the rounds of Hollywood hotspots Saturday night. She said Hamburger suggested a sail on his yacht and they motored to the harbor before dawn.“After a while I heard Delores shout she was going for a .swim,” she continued. “She ran off the boat to the landing and dived in, with all her clothes on, evening dress, wrap, and everything. X ran down and hauled her out.“Then I took off her wet clothes and put her in a cabin to get warm while I went looking for a robe, when I camc back she was gone.! I rushed up to the deck. I was too late. 1 heard a splash and saw some bubbles in the water. I called for help.After grappling in the mud of the harbor bottom for half an hour, f emen found the body of the girl who came here from Detroit about five years ago and danced at one time or another in most of the film colony’s plushiest night clubs. She specialized in Russian and acrobatic dancing.
