LETTER THREATENS DESTRUCTION OF ALL RAIL TOWNS VIA AIRPLANE BOMBSIFrom Friday's Daily—Towns along the M. N. A. “blown off the map” according to Railway are in danger of being a threatening letter received by Governor T. C. McRae Wednesday.The only provision under which they will be allowed to exist is that all those sent to the penitentiary over the recent bridge burnings be released and that every “member of that mob at Harrison” be sent up in their place.The letter was sent from Spring-held, Mo., and bears thp post mark of January 21. It is signed “I. W. W.”It reads as follows:.“If you don't want every town on the M.’ N. A. R. R. wiped off the map, you had better get busy and release all persons sent to the pen and every member of that mob at Harrison sent up. If you don’t act, we will give them a treble dose of their own medicine. The whole proceedings^ are a violation of* all law and order. If this is not done, we will send an airplane , over these towns jand burn and blow them up. We will see who laughs - last. Get busy and wright this wrong. Youwon’t have any warning when we are comeing.“I. W. W.“P. S. Every striker that wasforced to leave must bee paid double value for his property or hell willbee paid. Did you hear?”The letter is written with pencil 911 coarse writing paper without date.The Governor has not ordered out the state’s anti-aircraft batteries to repel the proposed invasion.
