Xoceas“d was lorn in 1 SI7 in Yorkshire, England, and came to Am ri« a in 1848. She had. lived in Iowa si net* 1149 and in Burlington for twenty five y« am. She was twice married and leave* two sons, one by the first and the other by the second husband, namely, J. S. .Metcalf ar.d George Fenning. She had he* n sick for only six days and deah was the result of old age rather than of disease.She was highly esteemed and venerated by all who knew h« r, and having always lived a life full of Christian charity, her latter days were filled with peace and resignation...
