- u-STARVING OF KIDDIESCHARGED TO ‘JEHOVAH’Denver, Colo., Dec. 27.—A petition charging Joshua Sykes, self-styled Jehovah of the Tabernacie of David, withcontributing to the dependency of minor children and another charging a woman member of his flock withneglecting her children, were filed inthe juvenile court here today. Sykes formerly lived in Berkley, Cal.Edmond C. Young filed a petition asking that Clyde and Winona Crosby, minors, be declared dependent and charging Sykes with contributing to their dependency. The petition alleged that as a result of the parents following the teachings of Sykes, thechildren have been deprived of food,shelter and clothing.- - - *** __
