Jh., aconscript, who descried about two months ago from Camp Leo, near Richmond. The said Medlirt is from Union Co N. 0., and is charged with the murder of Lt. Hoses Lillie* of the H2d Regiment, N. C. Militia, while endeavoring to apprehend him,John Mediin, Jr., is about 6 feot high and weigh* 175 or l*u pounds; him fair reddish complexion, light brown or sandy hair, (incl ucd-to red) and grayish brown eye*. On tin* night of Monday, the li-iil inst, while in charge of lb* officers who had arrowed him, said Med I in jumped from th«; train at the Company’s Shops, on the N. C. Railroad, end made his escape.
