Three Citv Youths OrderedJ _Bound Over T o Grand Jury*I—$40 check issued December I to the Safeway Store, Hagerstown;—$50 check issued December 3 to the Safeway Store, Hagerstown ;—$50 check issued December 7 to the same store in Hagerstown.The investigation and ensuing arrest was conducted by city detective Robert Frush.Trial Magistrate Wolfkill withheld sentencing in the six latter convictions to allow time to check Gruver’s prior record.David Joseph Shaffer, 63, of the Rescue Mission, was sentenced to 60 days in the Washington County Jail for disorderly conduct Wednesday in a local restaurant.Terry Lee DeLauney, 27, of Sharpsburg, was sentenced to three days in jail on charges of assault and disorderly conduct.Auto Crash Victim DiesThree Hagerstown youths were ordered held for grand jury action and jury trial Thursday on charges of petty larceny, minors in possession of alcohol, malicious destruction of property, and breaking and entering.Richard Steven Henry, 17, of 32 N. Locust St., Steven Dennis McAfee, 18, of 527 Reynolds Ave., and Jack Edward Short, 20, of 316 N. Mulberry St.. prayed jury trial before Trail Magistrate John B. Wolfkill, and were released on $350 bond each.The arrests and investigations were conducted by sheriff’s deputy Janies R. Powers. The arrests were the result of an incident December 24 at the Holiday Inn, 900 Dual Highway.Steven R. McKinley, 21, of West Newton, Ind., injured on Tuesday afternoon in an auto accident near Clear Spring, died early Thursday at Washingtonf!nnnfv Hnsnitnlon Interstate Route 70, lost control of his car, and rolled the auto several times.The mishap was investigated by State Police Tfc.
