La Cro.vue Insane Hospital Superintendent to Be Investigated.T^A. CROSSE, Wis., Dec. 29.—(Special.)— The charges which were made against Supt. McKown, of the La Crosse county insane asylum, will be investigated by a committee of supervisors which were appointed at the meeting of the county board which was held yesterday. The charges were made by former employes of the asylum and Supt. McKown is accused of brutality to the inmates and of feeding them stale meats.
