Hewitt, of Maple * City, were returning from visiting ( her daughter, Mrs. Robert Cairns ( and family, of Talihina, Okla., when they were side-swiped by a hit-and-run driver. The car was j badly damaged and Mrs. Chap-1, man suffered lacerations of the i• head and many severe bruises, j 5 1 Mrs Hewitt was examined. X- 1 1 rayed and released to her home, i lt;51 Mrs. Chapman is on leave from 1 *• her position as nurse at the I i• Health Center at Chilocco.
