McGough Pleads NotGuilty; Kelly FoundJames McGough, Moorhead, pleaded not guilty to charges of passing worthless checks and of abandonment, when arraigned before Judge C. A. Nye in Clay county district court today, and his trial was set for January 8.Frank Kelly, arrested at a farmhouse north of Moorhead on the night of December 16, in a raid in which Clay county officers seized aquantity of moonshine, a still and several barrels of mash, also arraigned today. He was indicted by a grand jury. On motion of Henry C. Stiening, county attorney, the indictment was nolied and Kelly entered a plea of guilty. He was sentenced to pay a fine of $50 and costs or 30 days in jail.Carl Lucken and James Williams, who pleaded guilty to ownership of ttie still, are serving jail sentences after pleading guilty under grand jury indictments.
