When he returned, the guri could not l»e found Officer Christy legan work on the case and soon located the gun-Ruby, with e crowd of colored men.was brought to police station and Lit-win. the pawnbroker had no trouble in picking out the man who pawned the gun.Ruby signed the name of another colored man. John Johnson. In addition to a charge of petit larceny a charge of forgery might be preferred against the prisoner. He is being tried in the city court this afternoon.
