FOUND A MISSING RIFLE.Colored Mon Had Fawned it to DavidLItwin.Seven colored men were lined up in police court this afternoon by Officer Thomas Christy. From the lineup David Lit win picked a man named Ruby as the person who pawned a 22-cafibre Stevens rifle to him for 80 cents. -IThe rifle wasJn, charge of a youth who had gone hunting. He left it. In care of a party of colored men while went on an -errand. When he returned, the gun could not he found Officer Christy legan work on the case and soon located the gun.Rtf by. with a crowd of colored men.was brought to police station and Idt-win. the pawnbroker had no trouble in picking out the man who pawned the gun.Ruby signed the name of another colored man. John Johnson. In addition to a charge of petit larceny a charge of forgery might be preferred against the orisoner. He is being tried in the city court this afternoon.
