Seveial miner cuses were adjusted ou Friday and Saturday.Tuesday morning upon the call of court, John Jeakius was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery with in* tent to commit murder on the person of Ponta Lyons, Christinas morn lug, and upon a plea of guilty was sentenced to the penitentiary North fora period of 2 to 14 years.On Tuesday morning Lon Watson, Roily IWden and James Ray were at* reigned and each given sentence. Young Harden was given thirty days in the county jail, while Ray was sent to the State reformatory for from one to thri e years, while Watson was given two to 11 years at the same place. Each were glveo a wholesome lecture by the couit aud each set mcd to feel the weight of the occasion and were deeply effected During the court's kindly advice, he was filled with emotion, tears filling his eyes in sympathy for the boys.
