Kogan, were very energetic in conducting raid* in Vic toriu und vicinity yesterday afternoon and last evening. The raids sro said to havo netted them a Urge quantity cf whiskey wine and ma»h and three first class stills. The alleged owuers of the liquor and operators of the stills were placed under arrest and lodged in the Victoria County Jail.Henry Saena, H local Mexican, was os- arrested at his home in thi* city. The officers raided the home of Manuel Gonzales, a Mexican farmer of the Nursery 2E- j section, and are said to have found be two stills in operation, and a Urge Quantity of whiskey in the making.
