Koe- ; fnigs. A fur coat found there was carried by the robbers into the Koenig : *house and abandoned. As a pawning article the fur coat would have been worth more titan any of the loot.POSSES ARE WARNED.Sheriff Keating this morning paled when he learned of the robbery of the Koenig home and that the convicts were armed. He sent warnings to his } men in the hills. Hearing that the men can not now be captured excepting after a bloody battle, the man hunters } are taking extra precautions in their search.Both of the convicts are desperate gunmen. Before he was captured two years ago near Sacramento Melville, standing waist deep in water, held ofT the pursuers for two hours.When they escaped Tuesday night | both were armed only with knives. *They were seen on the roof of the cell house by another convict, whom they threatened to kill if he gave thealarm.
