IllvwiGeorge Strack was shot fn the arm Saturday evening by Peter Loi Infront of his saloon, on the State street pike. Loi returned from Fort Branch, Ind., Saturday, Intending to spend Christmas with his father, Adam Lot, who resides near Moores-ville, three miles north of New Albany. He and his brother Frank, entered Strack’s saloon and a quarrel soou arose over a sum of money which the Lois claimed 8track owed them. The men came to blows and Peter Loi, who was being worsted In the fight, drew a revolver and fired several times, one of the bullets taking effect In 8track’s arm. Lot and his brother were arrested by Officers Philip Strack and Reaster sod taken to jail to await trial this afternoon. Btrack was not seriously injured. Peter Loi was badly braised about the face and head.
