Marvin K. Paup and his family of this city, resulted in serious injuries to Mrs. Paup and two of the children, while the others in the party were severely bruised and lacerated, according to reports reaching Corona.According to meager reports which have been received here, Mrs. Paup is suffering from a hasft] fracture and a compound fracture of one of her limbs, one of the little hoys has a basal fracture, while the little girl is suffering from Internal injuries. Reports reaching here stated that the extent or seriousness of the injuries have not been determined, Dr. Paup is at the bedside of his injured family in one of the hospitals in Los Angeles, the reports here not stating what hospital it was.The Paup family were enroute to Los Angeles yesterday morning to spend Christday day with relatives in Hollywood. Details of the accident are lacking, although it was stated that a drunken driver careening wildly through an intersection struck the Paup car, almost demolishing It.T. Green, aged man of Redlands was brought to the Corona)spital last night for emergency treatment when the Ford car in which he was riding was struck by a car driven by W. J. Cath-cart of HIT Garcia avenue, Santa Ana. on West Sixth street, lateyesterday.Car driven by Henry Beeckman, residing northwest of Corona, was badly wrecked when it crashed into another vehicle driven by a painter, late Thursday afternoon on Railroad street. Both cars were so badly wrecked that it was necessary for a tow car to remove the wreckage. Beeckman was held by the Corona police for investigation.Beeckman was arraigned this morning before Justice of the Peace D. G. Hows on a charge of allegedly driving while Intoxicated. He plead not guilty to the charge and the hearing was set for Jan. 7. Bonds were set by court at $1,000, which up un-late this afternoon, the de-dant had not been able to nish.
