A difficulty occurred at a dance Friday night at Eagle Furnace, ten miles south of McArthur, between Ripley Andrews and Thomas Kearney, duringwhich Andrews threw a heavy piece of scrap iron, striking Kearney on the head and knocking him down. Latest advices received by the Mkkhknoek stated that Kearney was not expected to live ami that Andrews had fled.MORCIAN.
