The Indians on the Rampage.—The jludi-aus have broken their parchment treaties al-• . •ready, and tho San Antonio Herald has a letter from Fort Mason,.dated Dec. 13, which says :..........This county has for tho last three days been literally besieged by Indians. On the night of the 10th they stple fourteen head of horsesfrom Mr. Moore, who lives hear Fort Mason.Ou the morning of the 11th they stole, or rafh-,.er took from him, Mr. HopoV horses, who Jives on Willow creek, eight miles east of this post, and on the same day they gave Adam Keller a hard run for his life, ou Rock creek, about seven miles south of the post. Sergeant King and another soldier from tho post wero out horse-hunting, and found four ponies badly used up, and left by tho Indians. Tho horses were brought in. One of the ponies was branded M on the shoulder.Lieutenant Murphy, commanding the pafcfc, immediately Bene out two scouts, which, should they meet up with the late “reconstructed” r6d men, (by th§ peace treaty) they will teach them a lesson they were not taught by the Pence'Commissioners ; and Sa-tan-ka, or Sitting Bear, will probably have to mourn the loss ofsomo of his vouohed-for tribe.
