e♦i.L,ett*aSix Plotting Escape From Reformatory Grabbed as They Climb Out of ChapelMANSFIELD, O., Dec. 23~—OPj— The plot of six youths to escape from the Mansfield reformatory here for the Christmas holidays was frustrated early today when guards lay in wait for the prisoners as they stepped into the yard after sawing through tba bars on thechapel window.Superintendent T. C. Jenkins said the break had been planned forfwn weeks and that he left the.youths go ahead so he could deter-mine just who are responsible.!
