Interesting Exercises—Teacher’s Fare-wej.l.—Miss Helena C. Guysi, for three years principal female teacher in the Seventh DistrictSchool, parted from her pupils yesterday afternoon, having resigned her position. The teachers and pupils presented her with a salver and other article* of solid silver, as a testimonial of their esteem. Mr. Woodward, one of the Trustees, made an appropriate address.— Miss Guysi gave great satisfaction to the patrons of the school, and her loss will be se^prelyfett. She is to be succeeded by Mivlt; DeCharms. Messrs. Harvey aud Fillmor/ also received several handsome Christmas gifts.
