Owner Of Local Jewelry Store Charged With TheftJeweler Adam S. Nacol, 60. was charged with theft over S200 last Wednesday following his arrest that same day after law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at Nacol Jewelry here inBurkburnett.Nacol was released on *5000 bond Wednesday set by Justice of the Peace Ed deMontel.Law enforcement officers executing the search warrant said they confiscated some rings from the store. According to the search and arrest affidavit, the jewelry was identified as having been stolen in the burglary of McClain s Furniture and TV Home Center in Waurika. Oklahoma, in 1975.According to deMontel, he accepted the search and arrest warrant as a formal charge.The affidavit for search and arrest warrant issued bydeMontel and signed by Robert Inglish, special investigator of the district attorney, accused Nacol of having in his possession the stolen jewelry.The warrant was issued on the basis of statements made by James F. LeBus, Clyde T. Burns and Alton W. Fanchier to Inglish. according to the charge.Burns and Fancheir have been convicted of murder and are currently serving prison terms. LeBus pleaded guilty to a burglary of a building charge and is currently serving a four-year prison sentence.Nacol was found innocent of theft over $200 and theft over $10,000 charges in another case by a Huntsville. Tex., jury on November 22.Theft over $200, a third degree felony, carries a prison sentence of two to 10 years and a fine not to exceed $5000.
