But the gentlemen in the red fur-trimmed suit wearing a friendly smile was a fake.He was an officer of the police vice squad, not the north pole. *_ ‘‘We’ve done everything else,” said Les Martz, Dallas police vice control officer. “We’ve been city employes and whatever, so why not Santa Claus.“We just wanted to liven things up and do something else.”The “something else” was a rented Santa Claus outfit costing two vice officers |92.50 for 24 hours.
