The body of a University of Texas co-ed -- mutilated by bullet holes and stab woundswas found last Saturday morning by park rangers ina culvert 8 miles east of Giddings.The dead woman, who was missing from Austin sinceTuesday night of last week,was postively identified by herstep-father and brother asDiana Laura Hinojosa.Her body was found float in face down in a culvert whic had several feet of water in it. She was nude from the up and clothed only in a pairof blue jeans and bobby socks. A belt and sweater was found floating in the water near the body.The culvert is located just a little over a mile off Highway 290 on Farm Hoad 180adjoining the Pete Parrish farm.
