Wood* Surrendersj Grubb was immediately take.i to I Greeneville by auto.. An operationj was performed about 12 o’clock last evening. Woods made his way to the Hawkins county jail, where he sur-j rendered to jailer Brownlow Pearson, and was locked up. No date has as yet been set for a preliminary hearing. Woods is married and a veteran;; of the World War. He is well known in Rogersville and has a good reputation, according to his empfoyer, L. F.Wilson.Grubb is single. He is survived by his parents, and several brothers and sisters. Two brothers and three sisters reside in Rogersville, one sister is at Pressmen’s Home, and two borthers are in Bristol. The Grubb family has lived in this place for about fifteen years, having come here from Bristol. The elder Grubb is an engineer on the Southern railway.No funeral arrangements have been made for Grubb, though it is thought his remains will be taken to Bristol for burial.
