Dec. 22.—The arrest of Theroa Kaperones and George Kaperones. written confessions wherein both swear they murdered Anatasius Mar-ango and his sister on a farm near Devrersa, Greesse. in Xovenber. 190S, and another forceful example of the vigilance of the United States officials, were fruits reaped here by United States .Marshal Frank B. Ulark. Inspector George C. .Murrell of the «t. Louis ofTice of the bureau of immigration and a countryman of the men under arrest. The two Kaperones were arraigned before Inspector Murrell and are now in the Wapello county jail. Where they will avNlalt tho wishes of the department of commerce and labor, to which a complete report of their arrest, arraignment and sworn confessions of the* murder was forwarded by Inspector Murrell.The entire country has been scoured for the two Kaperones since July 1. when fiotice of the murders was received by the officials of th“ United States. Because of the fact that they sailed from their native country under assumed names, and took a second alias when landing in America, has made their capture all the more difficult. The perseverance of Marshal Clark, however, was rewarded when both men were landed behind the bars of the Wapello county Jail.Theros Kaperones was arrested In Frcdrlc, where he was employed as a laborer on the Burlington. George Kaperones was apprehended Monday afternoon in a rooming house on East Main street. He had been employed at the Morrell packing plant under the name of J.
