Winslow City Police ReportThe following cases were recently investigated by the Winslow Police Department;Dec. 14: A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of E. Maple.A hit and run accident was reported in the North Park Plaza Shopping Center parking lot. A tractor/lraller driven by Roger Ray Rose was allegedly sirnck by another tractor/tTailer wkich left the area.Dec. 15: Danoy Ray Heldstab was arrested for criminal bcspass after it was reported that he had entered a building on Santa Fe Railroad property.A guest at the Mayfair Motel was reportedly robbed at gunpoint while walking in the alley of the 1300 block of E. First. Two suspects were involved.An attempted break-in was reported at a residence in the 600 block of W. Third. No entry was gained.Two chain saws were reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of W. Second. The saws had been stolen approximately two months ago and were not reported at the time.Dec. 16: A pedestrian walking in the 2C0 block of Colorado was reportedly struck by a hit and run vehicle. The vehicle, but not the driver, was later located in the 200 block of W. Third. The case is still under investigation.Nelson Alvin Begay wes arrested on a warrant following a disturbance at the Arizona 9 Motel.John E. Mead was arrested for theft after he allegedly stole avehicle From the 200 block, Campbell.A break-in was reported a: Dennis Swenney’s office, hem-, taken included three Kacbins dolls, 17*18 Navajo rugs an-cash.
