Body Identified At ParkersburgPARKERSBURG, W. Va. (UPI)~Wood County Prosecutor William R. Pfalzgraf said Wednesday he hopes to get results before the end of t h e week of fingerprint tests made on a badly decomposed body that has been identified as that of Gary Koon, 21, of Parkersburg.Koon was named by a convicted murderer as the one who could clear him in the slaying of Parkersburg used car dealer Clyde Williams and Parkers-burg.Koon’s body was recovered from an unmarked grave Monday in southern Pleasants County near a farm where Williams* body was found last March in an abandoned well.Two ex-convicts were convict* ed in the slaying of Williams. They were Jack Hart of Belpre, Ohio, and Donald Layne, 24, of Morgantown.Hart used Koon as his alibi when he denied he was connected with the Williams* murder. Hart said he was with Koon the day Williams was murdered and Koon could substantiate h i s claim.Koon never testified. He was reported missing about three weeks before Christmas, 1966.
