COLORADO SPRINGS, Dec. 19. fU.R)— Because he wanted to make the coming of Santa Claus a reality for his 7-year-old daughter, Jean, P. D. Kessler was injured todayKessler intended to slip down the chimney on his ranch home Christmas p%-e attired as the joliysaint and distribute the gifts forthe family.He decided today to determine whether he could get down the chimney. He was able to get halfway down and then became stuck. Airs. Kessler called neighbors, who were compelled to tear down the chimney before they were able toextricate Kessler.Kessler was taken to a hospitalhere, where he was treated for torn knees and elbows.
