BOOZE FOUND IN DANVILLE;UNCH OF RUNNERS CAPTURED. At three o’clock this mornihg Sheriff Clark raided the apartments of James Davidson;:in the Neiger flats on | Cress street, bet ween Main and Marion, and captured some four gallons pf white mule and also a quantity of mash. - 'Knowing of the intimacy betweenDavidson and J. C. Rumley, the offi-. • r.cers then visited the home of J. C. Rumley at the intersection of the Sigurson road and the Pittshoro road. This raid was entirely on suspicion and here a still and a quantity ofbooze, but no mash, were found.' -* .Davidson, J. C. Rumley and MiloRumley were lodged in jail. They willbe arraigned this morning.While these raids were in progress, Curtis Stewart, 1 iving on the Rock-• i .ville road, four miles west of town* tried to get the officers,v to inform them that a suspected car had broken down. Mr. Stewart then came to to^n and found Const able Towles, whowent out with Mr. % Stewart. Meanwhile the parties driving the broken car had secured a relief car from In• dianapolis and were engaged in transferring the liquor. Towles called to them that they were under arrest, and the driver of the relief car “stepped on it” and speeded east, throwing out a quantity of booze.
