Prosecuting Attorney J. Kenneth Williamson has tendered his resignation to Common Pleas Judge R. L. dowdy.The resignation was contained in a letter sent to Judge dowdy at Cleveland, where he is sitting on the common pleas bench of Cuyahoga County, and is effective immediately.The action will probably mean that the trial of C. W. “Tacks” Latimer for the murder of Charles K. Mackrodt, November 26, which was set down for trial in Common Pleas Court here December 26, will be postponed and held over until the January term of court, when the new prosecutor, J. C. Marshall, is in office.Claims that the state would bo 18, asking for a continuant o of thehandicapped in the prosecution of ! ease until a later date, which application was refused.
