Indian Oder’s Bones Stolen—Wapello county is aroused 'over the theft of Chief Wapello's bones from their burial place in a neglected spot of the Agency plot at the village of Agency, east of Ottumwa. • The robbery of the chieftain's grave is being probed by authorities. Chief Wapello was laid to rest on the’burial plot of the old Indian agency farm, and reposed beside the graves of some of the earliest white settlers of the county.
