The system of excluding citizens adopted at John Brown’s execution is not to bo repeated.Governor Willard, of Indiana, accompanied bv Mrs. Crowh-v. of New York, sister of Cook, and lion. 1). II. Voorhees, Attorney General of Indiana, arrived yesterday and visited Cook. The interview with his sister was most affect* ihg. Later in the day Dr. Staunton and wife, of Indiana, and Miss Hughe* arrived. Mrs. Staunton is a sister of Cook, and Miss Hughes a cousin. They also visited the prisoner, presenting a scene of grief and anguish scarcely to be described. They promised to see him again, but through the advice of Governor Willard each wrote him a few farewell lines, and all the ladies then left for their homes, the male relatives designing to remain with him to the last. -Arrangements have been made to have the body of Cook taken to New York for interment.Some of the relatives of Coppic arc expected to arrive to-day. His body will be taken to bis mother, at Springdale, Iowa.The bodies of Green and Copeland, it is thought, will not he claimed. If they are not, they will be decently interred near the gallows.The prisoners were quite cheerful this morning, and are now making religious preparations lor death.’ Cook was much cast down after parting with his sisters, but is now perfectly calm and collected, awaiting his doom.
