Forgery at BooneAustinBoone, was arrested one day last week , for forgery. He had formerly con-1 ducted an insurance and collection business in Boone. Before leaving thecity he sold a $100 note to the Secur-ity Savings Bank, bearing the signatures of a relative and endorced by j another party. When the paper matured these parties were called upon to pay and promptly repudiated the signature. An information was sworn oat by the bank officials, a requisition obtained from governor Jackson and an agent sent to Illinois for Signs. He was found in Bloomington and brought back. He waived a pralimi-nary hearing, but claimed the signatures were genuine.
