8 southbound car operated by Claude Higgins, 40. m Crawford St., Middletown, was stopped for a traffic sigpal and was struck from behind by an auto driven by Alvin Miller, 45. 1111 Lafayette Ave., Middletown. A passenger in the Higgins car, Helen Higgins, 42, same address, was treated at Middletown Hospital for neckinjuries.The Miller car was damaged $450 and the Higgins vehicle $200, deputies said.
